Afterschool Programs

"Sharks Until Dark" administered by BACR

Sharks Until Dark (SUD) is the name for our afterschool program at Sherman Elementary. The program runs on the Sherman campus immediately following the end of the school day to 6pm, five days a week. SUD offers a variety of after school classes that all our students are able to participate in. We focus on STEM, Arts, Outdoor Education, Cooking, Recreation, and Social Emotional Learning.

Sharks Until Dark is administered by Bay Area Community Resources.

Cost: Sliding scale, and scholarship rates are available.

TEL HI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ACADEMY

Tel Hi’s afterschool program runs Monday to Friday until 6pm for kindergarten through to 5th grade. Sherman students can ride the school bus to the Tel Hi campus in North Beach.

salesian boys and girls club

The Salesian Boys’ and Girls’ Club has been offering after school activities to San Francisco youth for over a century. They operate until 6pm Monday to Friday and offer activities such as athletics, arts, academic programs, cooking classes and camps for children in 3rd grade and older.

Sherman students can ride the school bus to the Salesian Club in North Beach.
